Micah Huff - St. Louis Elder Law Attorney

Micah began his career as a practicing attorney in 2005 with a small firm in Denver practicing probate and trust law. It was at this time that he began to get involved in Elder Law issues. He became interested in Elder Law when both of his maternal grandparents died within weeks of each other and he saw firsthand how important it was to have a trustworthy attorney who was both knowledgeable and willing to take the time to handle complicated estate issues. He strived to be the type of attorney and person that people could trust in difficult situations like the passing of a loved one.

Micah completed his undergraduate work at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he graduated with a double major in Economics and Political Science. He attended the University of Denver College of Law and graduated with his law degree and LL.M. (Master of Laws) in taxation.

He began his career in private practice in 2005 with the law firm of R. L. Steenrod, Jr. and Associates, P.C. practicing in the areas of Probate, Estate Administration, Estate Planning, Elder Law, and Probate Litigation. He was a member of the Statutory Revisions Subcommittee for the Trusts and Estates section of the Colorado Bar Association in charge of drafting a revised fiduciary misconduct section for the Colorado Probate Court which became law in Colorado on July 1, 2008. Micah and his family relocated to St. Charles, Missouri in late 2007 and he joined the firm in 2008 as an associate attorney. He has continued to expand his practice focusing on trust and tax work, complex estate planning, probate and trust litigation and tort lawsuit settlements.
