Martha C. Brown
Martha Brown is a partner in the firm. She attended the University of Bath, Bath, England; the University of Vermont (B.A., 1976); and the University of Missouri-Kansas City (J.D. 1981).
Ms. Brown has been practicing elder law for over 25 years and is a Certified Elder Law Attorney as certified by the National Elder Law Foundation*.
She is a fellow of the American College of Trusts and Estates Counsel and of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
She is also a past member of the Board of Directors of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and founding member and past president of the Missouri Chapter.
Ms. Brown speaks frequently on legal issues concerning the elderly and the disabled. She was appointed by the Missouri Supreme Court to the Disciplinary Committee,
which oversees the ethical conduct of lawyers in the State of Missouri.
She is a member of the Missouri Bar including the Probate and Trust Committee, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Council of Advanced Practitioners (CAP) of
the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Special Needs Alliance LLC, a national alliance of disability lawyers, the Alzheimer's Association and Member,
Missouri-Kansas Super Lawyers since 2006. She serves as a Board Member for the Long Term Care Ombudsman Program for Eastern Missouri, Association for Aging with
Developmental Disabilities and the Mid-East Area Agency on Aging.

Christine A. Alsop
Christine A. Alsop, a partner in the firm, has extensive elder law experience as well as significant litigation and advocacy experience. She has provided advice for both institutional and
individual fiduciaries. She regularly represents fiduciaries and family members in contested probate, trust and guardianship matters as well as fiduciary litigation.
She is also experienced in helping families with long term care issues, including Medicaid and Veteran's Benefits and estate planning, including asset protection
and Special Needs Trusts. She is a member of both the Missouri and Illinois Bars and is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
She is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and serves as Chair of the Advocacy and Litigation Section of that organization. She has served as a
member of the Board of Directors and as an Officer of the local chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and she is a member of the Missouri
Association of Trial Attorneys. She currently serves as the Chair of the Elder Law Committee for the Missouri Bar.
She graduated from Valparaiso University School of Law, where she was honored for her outstanding work in trial advocacy.
Ms. Alsop is asked to speak frequently before both attorneys and other members of the community on elder law and advocacy issues. She had developed and taught a on
a national basis a continuing legal education seminar for attorneys entitled: "The Compelling Advocate; Achieving a More Persuasive Performance Through the Use of Theater Techniques."
Ms. Alsop has also been asked to speak to various neighborhood associations, focus groups and professional organizations, including Lindenwood
University, St. Louis Rehab Institute, Lindenwood Neighborhood Association, American Express/IDS Financial, Renaissance Financial, and Edward Jones, on the

Alicia A. Albus
Alicia Albus was the Valedictorian of her graduating class at William Woods University, Fulton, Missouri in 1994. She graduated from the University of
Missouri, Columbia School of Law in 1997 where she received the American Jurisprudence Award in the area of Disability Law. She holds a degree in
accounting and has worked as a tax consultant in a Big Five Accounting Firm. Ms. Albus is an associate attorney with the firm and has been practicing
elder law for ten years. She is active in the Big Brothers-Big Sisters Organization and is a member of the St. Patrick Center Board of Trustees.
She is a member of the Missouri Bar, Missouri Bar Elder Law Committee, Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys
including the Missouri Chapter, and is co-editor for the Missouri Courts Bulletin, Elder Law Section published by the Missouri Bar.

Micah Huff
Micah is an associate attorney with the Firm. Micah graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a B.A. in Economics and Political Science, and received his law degree and Masters of Law (LL.M.) in Taxation from the University of Denver College of Law.
Micah was a judicial law clerk for Denver District Court Judge Sheila Rappaport from 2002-2004, and he was judicial law clerk for Denver Probate Court Chief Judge C. Jean Stewart from 2004-2005. He began his career in private practice in 2005 with a small firm in Denver, practicing in the areas of probate, estate administration, estate planning, elder law, and probate litigation. He was a member of the Statutory Revisions Subcommittee for the Trusts and Estates section of the Colorado Bar Association in charge of drafting revised fiduciary misconduct section for the Colorado Probate Court which became law in Colorado on July 1, 2008. He founded Huff Law, LLC in mid-2007 in Colorado before relocating to Missouri.
He is a member of the Missouri Bar, Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, St. Charles County Bar Association, Colorado Bar, Colorado Bar Estates and Trust Section and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys including the Missouri Chapter.
His areas of concentration are Elder Law, Probate, Estate and Trust Litigation, Estate Planning, Medicaid/Long-Term Care Planning, Estate/Trust Administration, Tax, Business Formation and Small Business Succession Planning.
M. Brigid Fernandez
Brigid Fernandez graduated from St. Louis University School of Law in 2006. In law school, she received the Academic Excellence Award for the highest
grade in Legal Profession. Recognized for her commitment to public service, she was awarded the 2006 St. Louis University School of Law David Grant Student Attorney Award.
She also worked as a legal intern in the St. Louis University Legal Clinics and tried her first case as a third year law student.
Ms. Fernandez also has a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Missouri-Columbia and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
She has extensive experience in health care and worked for nearly twenty years as a Medical Social Worker. During law school and after graduation, she worked at
a well-known personal injury law firm, where she focused her practice on medical malpractice and personal injury litigation. Prior to joining the firm, she clerked
for the Honorable Booker T. Shaw in the Missouri Court of Appeals.
Ms. Fernandez is a member of the Missouri Bar, Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, including the
Missouri Chapter, the Women Lawyers' Association of Greater St. Louis, Life Care Planning Law Firm Association, National Association of Social Workers and
the Society for Social Work Leadership in Healthcare. She is also a Certified Civil Mediator.
Her areas of concentration are Elder Law and Elder Law Advocacy, Estate Planning, Medicaid/Long-Term Care Planning, Guardianships/Conservatorships,
