Colleen received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Parks, Recreation and Tourism from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Go Tigers! After spending several years as a residential camp director and teaching outdoor education, she switched careers to the legal field. Colleen joined the firm as Martha Brown’s Legal Assistant in February 2012.
Colleen grew up in Kirkwood, but after moving away from the area for several years, was glad to return to her hometown. She enjoys playing soccer, traveling to New York City, and spending time with her two children.
Olivia A. Birkner
Olivia is a Legal Assistant and has been with the firm since January 2013. She graduated Hickey College with a Legal Administrative Assistant Associates Degree in October 2012. Prior to college, she was a C.N.A. working for an in-home care company. The skills and knowledge she learned as a C.N.A. give her an understanding of the challenges the elderly, persons with disability, and their families have to face.
Olivia’s time away from work is spent with her family.
Renee joined Martha C. Brown and Associates in March, 2016 as the firm’s receptionist. She has over 15 years of experience in customer relations. Ten of those were spent with the City of Clayton. The parks and recreation department benefited from her attention to detail and organizational skills as an Information Specialist Supervisor. Renee’s personal experiences attracted her to join our team. She identifies the challenges that families have when elderly members encounter age related struggles. Renee is highly committed and has a deep desire to help those in need. Her goal is to put a smile on each client’s face despite personal difficulties.
When Renee is not in our office, she enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
Chandelle Martel, MSW,LCSW, CASWCM has been working in the field of case management, geriatric and disability social work for over 25 years. She earned her MSW from Washington University. Chandelle is a regular speaker and contributor to blogs and senior service publications.
She has been working with Martha Brown and Associates for several years and enjoys working along side the attorneys to provide senior clients and their families support.
Anna is a Trust and Estate Paralegal and has been working in the field for over 15 years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Criminology & Criminal Justice from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and took a different path after college and started to work with the St. Louis County Probate Court. From there she advanced in her career and began working for law firms. She began working with Martha C. Brown & Associates in November 2015.
Anna enjoys spending time with her husband and son, as well as her family and friends. When she can make the time, she travels to Spain for visits with her family.
Charlotte B. Salozzo
Charlotte B. Salozzo is the office administrator at Martha C. Brown & Associates. Prior to joining the firm, she was employed for nine years in Mortgage Banking at Pulaski Bank and three years at Delmar Financial. Charlotte was an equity partner in an advertising services company for thirteen years in Boston. She graduated Rhode Island School of Photography and attended Framingham State University.
Charlotte enjoys photography, cycling and gardening. She is married and has two children.
Luqman Sadiq has a B.S.B.A. and a J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis. Luqman joined the firm as a Law Clerk while in law school. He writes the weekly blog, focusing on current issues in elder law, for the Martha C. Brown & Associates web page.
Luqman was born and raised in St. Louis and is an avid Cardinals and Blues fan.
Pat is a Legal Assistant in the Estate Planning practice area. She has worked in the legal profession since 1999, and in the estate planning area since 2001. Pat earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business management and has 20 years experience in the Information Technology field, primarily in the area of data security. She is married and has two children.
