Christine A. Gilsinan

Christine A. Gilsinan joined Mitchell, Brown & Associates in January, 2021 as “of counsel” and emeritus status.  Christine has been an attorney for over 40 years. For 28 of those years, she concentrated her practice in estate planning, probate and trust administration. The expansion of her practice to include elder law (long term care planning, asset preservation, public benefits for the elderly) came gradually, as her clients began to bring their parents’ concerns to her attention.

Christine is a past member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and was named the recipient of the Outstanding Member award of the Missouri Chapter of NAELA in 2013. For five years, she authored the Thompson-Reuter (West Publishing Company) Missouri Practice Series, Volume 41, Missouri Elder Law.

She has written articles for the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and authored or co-authored chapters for the Missouri Bar’s Practice Series. Christine also served as a board member of the Missouri Chapter of NAELA and as co-chair of the Elder Law Committee and the Education Committee of the Missouri Bar. She has been a presenter on the topics of elder law and estate planning issues to the public and other attorneys. She has been named a Super Lawyer for the past six years.
