Today, December 7th, 2022, marks the 81st anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Over 2,400 American soldiers and civilians died and more than 1,000 were wounded. It is estimated that fewer than 1,500 survivors of the Pearl Harbor attack are still alive in 2022.

The attack brought the United States into World War II. Over 407,000 American soldiers would die and over 671,000 would be wounded in the war.

Today we honor and remember those that died, were wounded, served in the military, or made other sacrifices to achieve victory in World War II.
